Below, please find the list for the monthly breakfasts to be held at the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown Hotel for 2018-2019. Breakfasts will take place on the third Friday of every month, with the exceptions listed below. Meeting is from 7:30am – 9:00am (breakfast) and 11:30am – 1:00pm (lunch).

This Months Featured Speaker

EVA C. PACHECO, M.D.

Dr. Pacheco earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. She received her medical degree from the University Of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She completed an internship in Family Practice at the University of Louisville and a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Amelia Brown Frazier Rehabilitation Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine. She is board certified by the International Academy of Independent Medical Examiner and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Pacheco is in private practice of physical medicine and rehabilitation and performs independent medical examinations.  She has been practicing in New Mexico over 25 years.

Dr. Pacheco’s clinical experiences include serving as the Medical Director and Quality Council Chairwomen for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has also directed Spinal Cord Clinics at various Navajo Nation Clinics throughout New Mexico and Arizona. She served as Medical Director for the Navitas Cancer Rehabilitation Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Dr. Pacheco has been involved in many organizations. She was a past president of the New Mexico Hispanic Medical Association and a member of the Greater Albuquerque Medical Association, the New Mexico Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. She has also served as the New Mexico State Representative to the Council of State PM&R Society and was the Chairwomen to the Hispanic Latino Health Advisory Council to the University of New Mexico Health Science Center School of Medicine.  She was a past Vice President of the Brain Injury Association of New Mexico.

She has advocated for the brain injury waiver and the UNM combined MD/BA degree program.

Dr. Pacheco presently resides in Albuquerque with her husband of 36 years. She has two grown children.

Dr. Gina Sandoval, a DSI Workforce Solutions Expert Provider, is President/ Owner of Spine Solutions, Inc. – physical therapy and worksite strategies. Dr. Gina Sandoval received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2006 from Pacific University in Oregon as well as her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 1993.
